"In 1999 with no training but listening to the Lord, I began my painting career. Painting portraits of the horses comes easy to me because of growing up around them. Their conformation and expressions are second nature to me. Horses were my way of life. I'm so fortunate that they are still in my life and that I am able to paint portraits of them full-time in my Virginia studio. I truly love the wonderful reactions I get from my clients when unveiling a painting. It's so rewarding and worth all my time and effort".
